Founded in 2004 with the vision of quality, I thought that if we never compromised the quality of our food, and served meals in a comfortable, relaxed surrounding with warm, friendly service… people would keep coming back. It worked! And, we’ve never changed our vision. I gave my name to the restaurant out of a sincere sense of pride and confidence in our menu and staff. We pledge to maintain high quality standards so we can enjoy your valued patronage again and again. We look forward to showing you a fabulous d... read more

One of the worst upscale dining experiences ever! – My wife and I tried this restaurant for a second time, hoping that our first experience there was a one time bad event, unfortunately we were wrong. We sat down to a nice wine, looking forward to a nice dinner, unfortunately when our food came out, it was far less than expected. Of everything we ordered, the only thing warm was my wife?s steak. My osso Boco, ice cold and fatty, the Garlic Mashed, cold again, oh and the asparagus, cold and undercooked, and then the hollandai... read more
Upscale restaurant with a French Quarter flair offers private rooms, a cigar room, fireplace dining and takeout. – In Short Southern in spirit, the main dining room features warm mahogany paneling, elegant chandeliers and rich jewel tones. If you're looking for something a little less formal, head to the Voodoo Lounge, where you'll find dark leather chairs, booths and a well-lit fire on colder nights. Signature dishes include grilled Brie appetizers, New Orleans turtle soup and pork tenderloin marinated in bourbon sauce. An ... read more
Wonderful place – The food here is phenomenal and the atmosphere is great too. I was happy with the prompt seating and teh 5 star service. I will be going back soon.
Great food & Great service – We love this place. We drive 45 min. just to eat here. The owner Rey is great. He is always there when we eat there. The food is great the wait staff is great what more can you ask for. If you liked Ruth Chris then you will love Rey's. The steak is the same, but there is so much more to love. Make a reservation and remember the plates are really hot, so order your steak less cooked the plate will do the rest.
Very disappointed – I joined an old friend for dinner at Rey's about a month ago. I was extremely disappointed. The food was o.k. at best. I have had better salmon at the Outback (which is usually a last choice). The steak looked good, but it's really not that hard to grill a steak. Everything else was second-rate- table service, the ambiance was stale, they served bottled water (in a .99 cent plastic bottle?), bad salad and overall there was nothing special about the place. For what they tout, they have certainly missed the... read more
Great fine dining – Rey's is highly recommended by our family. They have a great wine list and the meals were delicious. The side orders were large enough to pass around. The steaks were cooked to perfection using quality meat. The decor is very warm and romantic. We will be back soon.
Great atmosphere and food – Wonderful atmosphere and food. Great place for adults. Food is delicious and priced appropriately. I wouldn't recommend taking children but I'm sure they are welcome. Have a drink at the bar with a cozy warm atmosphere and the fireplace is roaring (seasonal). The people that work there want to make you happy and can't do enough for you.
Excellent food and service – Rey's was a great dining experience. They have elegant ambience, and even had live music (this was on a Friday). All of the food we ordered was cooked perfectly and was delicious. The tuna appietizer, the creamed corn, and the French Quarter chicken were exceptional. I've seen other reviews stating that steaks were not properly cooked, but my husband's was perfect and he ate every bite. Other reviews also stated the martinis were not good; however, we sampled 2 -- the Metropolitian and Lemon Drop... read more
Way Overrated – I found out about Rey's through city search. I invited one of my good friends to come along for dinner. The prices were ridiculous. The garlic mashed potatoes were cold (sure sign of a microwave). The microwavalbe potatoes wer $4. KFC has better ones. The steak that I ordered was over cooked. At the end of the experiece our waiter took forever to bring the ticket. Stay away
