The process was almost painless.There was alot of documents to produce and the FHA forms at signing had errors that they would not correct.For example the note showed a ballon payment due in 14 years.Thats totally opposite of what a reverse mortgage is.I pointed it out to them before closing but they the closing agent said they could not alter the form!!

We had our original RV back in 2012 so we were somewhat familiar with the process. The only thing that I had issues with was the FHA appraisal but this company really has nothing to do with that process. I also noted some comments regarding the "inane" amount of paperwork associated with a FHA loan/process. Remember, we are dealing with the Federal government and the amount of paperwork associated with the process is directly connected with the feds. No amount of paperwork is ever enough. Phil **** and Karen ******* of RMF led us through the details of a Reverse Mortgage. Phil spent a lot of time helping us with all the details of our mortgage. He was always there answering our many questions. There were competing Reverse Mortgage companies, many good ones. However, none of them were as helpful in helping us navigate our way through the process as Phil ****er did. I would recommend RMF to anyone I knew was considering a reverse mortgage

I would strongly recommend that nobody have any dealings with this company. I explained my situation and what I wanted to do and why and I just kept getting the run around. I sent them every document they asked for and completed the reverse mortgage consultation that I was told was a requirement and paid my money for this and continued to get the runaround with only further excuses. I informed them that I am no longer interested in a reverse mortgage and certainly not from them. *** *

Very professional. Accommodated our COVID-19 isolation very well so that our safety was not compromised. The agent who handled our application was very knowledgeable and readily answered all our questions

I have been with RMF for two years and it's been a great experience. I thought I'd take advantage of the recent mailers I'd been receiving from various companies including RMF to refinance at a lower rate and possibly get more $$. I spoke with a rep Al ********* who went over everything with me and came to the conclusion that I would actually lose out if I refinanced at this time. Reverse mortgage was very thorough and patient. The title company kept coming up with a few items where is frustrating to get a loan through but your people were fantastic. I am very pleased to have done business with reverse mortgage.
