I have a thyroid birth defect. It's literally been a struggle my entire life trying to get a handle on it, the symptoms and how it will affect the rest of my body and hormones. Both Dr. Emily's in this practice deserve all the praise. It's worth every penny. I have an incredibly complex case and saw a plethora of doctors for years before God dropped Emily into my life. Ive now been seeing her every 3 weeks for almost a year and I have nothing be the absolute BEST to say about her. She listens, she understands, and she is familiar with a lot of very difficult presentations and symptoms because she has, at one point, experienced many herself. I went through a boatload of doctors trying to get someone who would listen to me about the experiences I was having with my thyroid. When I finally found Emily at Restorative Functional Medicine, she actually listened to me, ran the appropriate tests to figure out what was going on, helped me with the right treatment, and I finally started feeling back to my old self.
