I have rented a property in the Outer Banks through this company. The pictures on line are of course beautiful. We are at this property for 2 weeks. Upon entry on Sunday, October X XXXX, we noticed several things, the carpet is dirty, the furniture is dirty, there was dog hair on the kitchen counters, the kitchen floor was sticky and the air intakes and ceiling and floor vets were filthy. Rented Blue Angel, from Resort Realty OBX home located at **** N Virginia Trail Trail and was more than disappointed. Arrived to a filthy house. Filthy defined as urine on toilets, carpets with hair all over on every floor. Hard floors with visible hair and dirt, uncleaned showers, one bathroom completely unclean with towels piled in floor. Upon arrival Saturday night, the house was a filthy, disgusting disaster. It looked like it hadn't been clean in months, and I've seen cleaner bathrooms in a bus station. After contacting Resort Realty, they sent two people over who shared a towel and wiped parts of the house down again. Apparently this company's definition of "Clean" is different from everyone else's. We were in the **** the Duck home this week in Duck, NC. When we arrived the house was filthy. The floors were disgusting and housekeeping had to come out and re-clean. She did an awesome job and said she couldn't believe it was in the shape it was. The vacuum cleaner dod not work which explains the filthy floors. We had 9 people that we are vacationing with and no working oven, a broken toilet, a broken dishwasher and a gas grill with no propane. Within 1/2 hour of arriving at our beach rental, **** ******** *** in Corolla NC, on July 10, 2021, we called Resort Realty to complain about the state of the house. There were spiderwebs with spiders on the walls, not just the ceilings, but on the actual walls that you walk past. There were spiders on the sliding glass doors to go out to the balconies with webs that you had to duck under in order to walk on the the balcony. I'm currently staying at property ***** ******* ***** in Nags Head, NC. The rental property is filthy. We spent a lot of time cleaning when we arrived. Their cleaning service is the worst. I would like to be reimbursed for this. The bathrooms were clearly not cleaned. There was hair and debris on the sinks. It's like everything was sprayed with ***** but was never wiped. My family and I visit the Outer Banks every year. We've stayed in several different houses with several different rental companies, but have never had as negative an experience as we had this week with Resort Realty. We arrived at rental ***** right at 4pm to which was when our confirmation email and the Resort Realty website said we were allowed to check in. I would like to warn people against renting with resort reality in Nags Head NC. If there was a zero star, they would get a zero. Upon arrival to our ***** beach cottage, we noticed right away that the outdoor shower was spewing water. There was a hole in the pipe. Water had to be shut off from the outside. As we continued to tour our beach home, the grill outside was caked with residue and grease and the outdoor refrigerator smelled of vinegar. We continued to work with her throughout her stay and did all we could to ensure all issues were addressed as quickly as possible and to her satisfaction. By the middle of the week she did agree that we as a company had been very accommodating and done all we could to help and resolve her concerns. Worst rental company I have ever used! I don't even want to give them a star! The pictures online don't seem to be updated, when we got to the home the house had NOT been cleaned. It was a pet friendly home, so a little pet hair is to be expected, but no - it was floating in the air! The deadbolt on the door could be seen through.
