Very disappointed. I’ve spoken to 4 different people, and have received 4 different responses. Wanted to start immediately, but had to wait a day, they had no one available for 2 day’s. Two people came to the house each told us different things they will provide. We were told we were going to have person (1) as the caseworker/nurse. Next day I get a call from caseworker (2) who tells us 1 is not our caseworker/nurse, it will be someone else. That person (3) was booked up for that day, so she (2) was covering for her. very disappointed with the residential hospice care services we received at home. The communication was extremely poor, and visits were frequently skipped without any notice or follow-up call. On multiple occasions, staff simply did not show up, leaving the family worried and without support during a very difficult time. Instead of taking responsibility, there always seemed to be another excuse for missed visits and lack of care. The hospice care my mother received was exceptional. My mother was so pleased with the visits, from the music therapist to the physical therapist. And as her daughter who had been taking care of so many details -- I was relieved. I was much more able to resume my role as daughter and less caregiver and enjoy being with my mom in this chapter of her life. Thank you for the gift you were to our family, The Millmans.
