Easy walk to 5 Points. Rooms are great!
Overall score 3 and here’s why on this first time overnight visit. Due to delays of previous night guest check-out, check-ins were delayed and they were short staffed. One of two elevators were not working. So, at high peak time, to get to your floor, we decided get on and take the extra ride down/up. Also, one ice machine on 6 floor for the entire hotel to use. Hotel parking is awkward. Upon arrival, the entrance is easily overlooked. The hotel itself is situated at a corner that can bypassed unknowingly. The front desk associate didn't seem friendly, at all. No smile. No hello. Just matter-of-fact and blunt. Otherwise, the room was acceptable.
The shower seal requires repair. Parking was not provided, yet a charge for parking was applied. The bed linens were soiled. The room presented an unpleasant odor. I intend to formally address these concerns with corporate. Had this not been a business trip, I would have sought alternative accommodations.
