Research Medical Center doesn't allow you to make a payment plan in person. So, if someone doesn't have the ability to call them (no phone), there's no way to make a payment plan or a way to work with them financially. They allow payments in person, but they would still send someone to collections for not having the ability to call them to discuss a payment plan. Their financial advisers will not allow a payment plan to be put in place while in person.
RecommendedI was recently at Research for surgery. I have been in 4 other hospitals locally, 3 for surgeries. By far Research was my best experience. From now on I will request it, if possible. And I live in western Johnson County. Private rooms. Had only wonderful nurses and staff. Attentive comforting care. My every medical need was fulfilled quickly, efficiently, with kindness and smiles. Thank you Research.
11/27/19 all morning! Why is NO ONE answering the phone to the hospital? I've been calling all morning and no one will answer the switchboard. This is a real concern when I'm trying to reach someone who is checked in. Someone answer the phone!!!
I’ve been in this hospital for a week now and have asked for my room to be cleaned EVERYDAY, and not 1 time still have anyone came and cleaned my room, mopped my floor, or wiped anything down and I’ve asked 4 different workers here. Out of all the hospital I’ve had to stay over night or days I’ve never been to a hospital where they just never came in and cleaned a patient room. But when I say I’m feel my health is in danger everyone looks at me crazy.
I had a myelogram on 10/31 and just saw that the bill is $19,433. That is just ludicrous.
quick, and got my brother the help he needed. he was having a stroke, they were nice. not saying perfect but if you find a perfect hospital, you must be at john Hopkins in Baltimore
I went in for a procedure and wasn’t suppose to be in all the pain I was in after waking up...the nurse went I to action to take care of me...I stead of letting leave in a couple of hours they kept me all day to make sure I was okay to go home...I love it when nurses love their job...they take real good care of you!!! Thank you to all the nurses that made sure i was straight before releasing me!
We had to take my dad to Research because the normal hospital was not excepting ER call they were fill. To be honest l was a little nervous about this knowing he may not make it. I couldn't have been more impressed with the staff and doctors. Not only were they so organized but also they were very compassionate. Also how clean the hospital was blow me away. We have been in and out of several hospital's the past 2years with my parents and I have to be honest my experience with Research has been the best.
A big thank you to Dr. Seligsen and the amazing staff at Research Medical Center. My family member recently had open heart surgery. He is feeling great one week after surgery. Our heartfelt thanks for excellent care. 💕
