When we visit family in Western North Carolina, Renzos is one of the places we go. Excellent Italian food prepared well, great presentation and the correct amount of spices. I've eaten at other Italian restaurants where the garlic is wafting through the air and over powering in the food. Not here, it's just right. The scampi prepared with shrimp and scallops was marvelous.
First time dining and we will be back! Everything our party ordered was excellent - true Italian heritage! The risotto special with scallops was excellent, beef carpaccio, tiramisu - you could truly taste the freshness of the ingredients!
Very enjoyable atmosphere. The food was delicious.
As of Italian heritage myself, you cannot beat the authenticity of Renzo's.
