This company is a scam they don't keep proper record of payments being made on your account even after emailing proof of my payments being taken out my checking account I still get threatening texting stating my accounts overdue when its not. They also authorize my account days before the money can be available causes extra fees to be charged on my bank account $30 which I shouldn't have to be paying of they would authorize it on the first like what was agreed. Was told I was doing a non credit financing and here my credit report says they pulled a hard inquiry!!! Now I have to do work to get that taken off because I'm sure they can't fix as easy as they took it 😡!!! Pulled my credit 2 times when I was told I had a 3000$ credit for purchases. By far the Lenoir City Tennessee location is the biggest joke and unprofessional.ill admit I get behind at times. Times get hard with all the world is going through. But for them to visit my neighbor and tell them I'm behind and how much I owe and what the pay off is,is completely unprofessional and I'm sure breaks a privacy laws.even if the neighbor asked they should never tell private information.then they want to send their employee to my work and that employee tell ppl I work with that they are there to collect from me.h... read more

Do not ever rent from Rent a center at all. Save your money up and buy outright, they lie, harass, tell your referencences there is a warrant for your arrest. The list goes on. I paid my stuff off and will never ever use Rent a center again. Also their prices are extremely high.

I made a payment online that's not reflecting in my account. So I call them repeatedly and no one can help me. They keep saying they will escalate it to a supervisor and I should receive a call back within 48 hours and I have yet to hear from them... it's been over 2 weeks. This is ridiculous! I'm due to close my lease on 10/3 but can't do this if that $300 payment is not reflecting in my account. I refuse to pay another $300! This is ridiculous and I will never to business with them again.
I absolutely hate this company. I have been going back and forth with them to try to resolve a credit reporting discrepancy. They are still reporting a balance higher than what I actually have left to pay off. Avoid this company at all costs.
I have been trying to make my payments. They can't take from no accounts or cards always say cancelled payment after to have it drafted. I don't know what's up with this company. Nobody helps to communicate yet it seems like I'm just missing payments I call every other day. This terrible.who can I contact before they try to damage my credit.
The store in South Zanesville, OH, is pretty good. But all in all its RAC its a rental - non retail place to rent 2 own things. My guys at store 30? I believe help me ,and assist me and probably don't get enough credit. But I certainly am pleased. I give credit to the delivery guys who put up with drama. And to the non payees out there, quit it you're hurting the good customers.
