SCAMMERS! This company created two accounts under my name. One showing accurate on time payments the second is showing 28 days pass due. It's been two months and they have yet to update my account. They call everyday and I have to tell the same story about how my account is supposed to show current. Purchased a washer in february and paid it off yesterday to utilize my 90 day payoff option only to find out that they reported on my credit report yesterday that I opened a new account in the amount of 1886.00 the washer I paid off was only 849.00. Have been getting the run around for explanations, meanwhile this can hurt my credit worthiness and score with the 3 credit bureaus. The total opposite of helping to build my credit. After FINALLY getting ahold of Billing (XXX)- XXX-XXXX and speaking with Steven who assured me my payments have stopped...The charge was taken from my account this morning. So I call back and they tell me oh sorry about that... we have issued a refund that might take up to two weeks to go back to my account. This is what you can expect when dealing with Preferred Lease.
I would not use them. I have paid off my account and I am still being charged. I've called to dispute them and I am getting nowhere. I was assured that there will no longer be any withdraws from account. I was lied to there was another charge. I was told I'd be getting refunded that was two weeks ago. This company is the worst I have ever dealt with. The customer service team is rude and unreliable if you can ever reach anyone in the store, I would call to make my payment every month because their payment portal is a joke I would call every day for a week straight leaving voicemail after voicemail and would not get a callback or could not get anyone to ever answer the phone. This company lied to me about the product I would never get so I have been renting something temporary for six months for no reason. They never call or contact you it is up to you to do all the legwork they are very worthless and cheats
This company is terrible to deal with and I highly recommend that you never utilize this company. They have and will over charge and unnecessarily harass their customers. I will never use this company again.
These guys keep telemarketing my store and disturbing me when I have customers. Just this morning, a sales representative from Preferred Lease called me and I asked him to not call me and harass me anymore, as I am often busy with customers. I hung up on him. He called back irritated and said, "I am a customer and you just hung up on me. I want to speak to your store manager." I told him I am the store manager, then he said, "I want your full name."
