Very bad customer service. I was a customer at the Cartersville Georgia location and I had paid $40/week for 35 weeks on a washer and dryer and then when I moved to the Dalton Georgia location I moved all of my belongings except for the washer and dryer bc in my contract I signed along with rent a center stated that if I moved I had to inform rent a center so that rent a center could make arrangements to move the items listed on the contract. These people are scandalous, if you purchase through them, they will charge you triple the cost of the item you bought. I bought through Ashley Home Furniture for 1900. and will end up paying Rent-A-Center over 5,000.00. Wolves in sheeps clothing! They call themselves Acceptance Now and sell you a load of lies. Do not purchase from Acceptance Now or Ashley's home Furniture.
Lemoore Ca Location , As advertised 4-6 months same as cash ; selected the store location & ordered a New fridge and , straight to the point. The original Order i placed was canceled because the agent at the store found - & i quote (NEW) fridge at another store location & can have it picked up & delivered to me. Delivery is terrible...They tell you a scheduled time and pretty much arrive when they want.. I'm not quite understanding the poor customer service
Don't handle responsibilities. We've been asking them for a year now to fix our washer and dryer. We have to hold our dryer door shut with a 2x4 against a heavy bucket. We were promised they'd send someone out, then we were promised a new set. The original set they claimed was new. It was not new, it came used with water in it. Now, they demand payment and I'm 1 payment away from owning it. They said if I made a payment last time I was in they would swap them out the next week. It didn't happen and now they are harassing us ... read more
Horrible!! 3 hrs late delivering the furniture and they were supposed to pick up by 3 pm today and now they say they are too busy!!! The movers come tomorrow morning so the rental stuff is going out on the porch and if it gets wetOH WELL!!!!!

I first leased a brand new, 5.4 cubic foot LG washer and 8.2 cubic feet dryer set in September of 2020, and it broke around May 2021. I used the warranty on it to get it fixed. I went a month and a half with a very small capacity Amana washer that the Sapulpa store switched me out with, I did call and speak to the manager; Callie every week and checked in to see how the progress was going. I worked with rent a center before. The first time I dealt with a salesman named Dimitri, who was incompetent to a fault. And now again this time with a different representative. I've had some health and financial issues and in the begining (the second time) they were willing to work with me. Now however they aren't.
