Good room service and fun
Rooms are over priced and had problems with air conditioning. Also was charged for room service that was never received and did not get refunded!!
We were staying here as a family, with our 1.5 year old. At 700 pm, security shows up at our room and said there was a complaint of our baby crying. Said can y’all do something about that!! Really? It’s 7pm And by this time he was not crying and had fallen asleep. Which he was woke up by security knocking on the door!!! We are elite Marriott reward members and will never visit this hotel again!
I do not recommend the Renaissance Montgomery Hotel and Spa at the Convention Center because we booked a room through priceline and was charged full price for the booking then. We stayed at the hotel 3 days later and waa charged again the day after checkout. We cannot get in touch with anyone at his hotel that can solve this matter and after repeated messages left, no one will call back to rectify the situation. Will stay at the Embassy Suites Hotel that is directly across the steet.
The bartender at the poolside bar told me a Diet Coke was $2.50 but when I got my ticket it jumped to $4. Then $15 for a small daiquri. No thank you! Next time I will bring my water bottle to refill.
Just attended an Equal Justice Initiative - Peach and Justice Event at the Renaissance Hotel and they charged me $20 to park. I was there just under 8 hours and expected to pay the $12 I've paid before when attending a conference. Someone else that was there for less than 3 hours was also charged $20. This is ridiculous that you would charge people this amount for parking and not alert them fully when coming into the hotel for the meeting. I've never been disappointed with attending meetings at the Renaissance before but you... read more
Nice center City hotel, new, clean, great conference location. Good restaurant with others nearby.
This is a beautiful hotel. The room was well put together and I love having Aveda products in the bathroom. The staff was also very courteous.. however, the reason for my low rating is this.. I was in town for a conference and had to get up very early. There was live music downstairs that played loudly past 11:00 pm. I am a very light sleeper and it kept me up. I don’t understand why you would have live music in a hotel where people are likely getting up for work, or there are young children/senior adults trying to go to sle... read more
Stayed here before years ago and loved it, not so much now. At check in we were treated rudely by the front desk staff as though us checking in was an inconvenience. Didn’t have any hot water in the room unless we ran the bath, shower and sink for over 30 mins. The bar/restaurant staff are the rudest/slowest I’ve ever encountered. After being at a dance competition with my daughter until 10.30pm we went to get food, which they serve until 11. After waiting 15 mins to be served I was told the kitchen closes at 10.45. After co... read more
