Came to celebrate our anniversary but discovered our Room was dirty and bed was not made when we checked in. The staff (Scott and Tyler) were either inexperienced or apathetic, it was hard to tell. Extremely rude and inept. We checked out immediately and stayed at the Omni in Frisco where it was wonderful from start to finish.
I was in awe of this beautiful hotel from the time I walked in. The decor is beautiful and everyone was so nice. The rooftop deck with the tanning ledge and cabanas are a must have in the Texas heat. My green tea was perfect with the right amount of sweetness (that rarely happens) and my daughter enjoyed the Texas size Rice Krispie treat. I've been to 5 star hotels in Vegas and this hotel rivals them.
We had amazing stay at the Renaissance. The neighborhood is so vibrant and walkable. Hotel room had amazing finishes and lots of unique features.

The Bone-In Pork Belly at Oma!! One bite and suddenly I heard a chorus of angels singing! After verifying that I hadn't actually died or stroked out.. I happily consumed every incredible bite. Did I mention that it is firmly planted on a bed of Manchego Mac and cheese!! Oh Lawdy!! So incredible!
Hotel is brand new! Only open 3 weeks. Love the modern Texas decor. We didn't get to use the pool but checked it out. Gorgeous roof top pool with modern cabanas, lots of seating and a great cool breeze! Will definitely stay longer next visit and bring out swimsuits!
The hotel is beautiful with the Asian Texas style. Our bathroom was incredible with two shower heads, a tub, and mood lighting. The reason it is not a five is the pool times being so limited. Check-in is 3:00. The pool closes at ten. We can't get to the hotel before six due to work schedules. By the time we ate dinner, we totally missed time in the awesome pool area. Also, the mattress was hard and the pillows XL or XS, no medium size pillows.
