Prepare to pet, feed and photograph both adult and baby reindeer at Anchorage's fascinating Reindeer Farm. Gentle and tame, these "deer" are accustomed to visitors and are very friendly. Owner Tom Williams actually grew up on this beautiful farm and transformed it from a dairy farm to a reindeer wonderland in the late 1980s. Today, visitors can also marvel at elk and bison, and can go on a horseback ride up up the nearby Butte.

RecommendedThis was our second year going and it has become a favorite family tradition. The reindeer weren't hungry by the time we arrived in afternoon, so my 3-year old talked to reindeer resting on the ground and seemed satisfied the reindeer looked at him & seemed to be listening. It was okay. Didn't have the train that I wanted to take my grandson on. But other than that the music was great and the people were fun. The reindeer were not excited to see us lol
We always have a blast at the Reindeer Farm, very reasonable prices and the kids love all the attractions. We go every year in October and it gets better each time. A+ operation and great people!

We had a great time!! Fun for the whole family!! My daughter especially loved feeding the reindeer and the bunnies!
Beautiful scenery, friendly people and awesome things to do specially for children. My whole family had a great time. Love ❤️ the family picture that one of their farm members took for us. He was so nice to voluntarily take a picture of us simply because he adores our family. Thank you. Would definitely come back. My daughter loves her picture with the reindeer .
It has come such a long way each year! So much more to do and organized! We have gone 4yrs as our new fall tradition and always have fun! Only complaint is the boiled hot dogs instead of grilled! Eww l. We will deffinately be back next year, again!
