Prepare to pet, feed and photograph both adult and baby reindeer at Anchorage's fascinating Reindeer Farm. Gentle and tame, these "deer" are accustomed to visitors and are very friendly. Owner Tom Williams actually grew up on this beautiful farm and transformed it from a dairy farm to a reindeer wonderland in the late 1980s. Today, visitors can also marvel at elk and bison, and can go on a horseback ride up up the nearby Butte.

We came out there yesterday morning and had a fantastic time! We have people in our group ranging from 3-70 and everyone left saying how awesome this experience was!! We are stationed at Fort Wainwright and I look forward to when my husband returns from deployment and we can bring him here with us too!!! We will definitely be returning on our future trips to the Anchorage area!!! Thank you to all of the staff who was so wonderful and patient with everyone!!!
Had a great time at the reindeer farm. Went horse back riding, beautiful ride! Seen a reindeer starting to be born, amazing! Would go back!
While we were stationed up at Elmendorf, we had several visitors come up from 'Outside', in other words the lower 48. We took them to many places, but the Williams Reindeer Farm was one of the most memorable for them and for us. Feeding the Reindeer, seeing and petting Bruce the Moose, and watching Eddie the Elk was a fantastic experience for all of our family and friends who came up. RecommendedGot to interact with a little guy who had been abandoned by his mom. Jim even got to pick him up. Our guide was absolutely incredibly incredibly knowledgeable and any question we asked he knew the answer to it. I did not know that all of Santa's reindeers were girls. I would recommend it to anyone that has an interest whatsoever in wildlife.

Took our family out to the fall time fun this last October and had so much fun! We actually got lost on the maze. Ppl were super nice great community feel My 2 year old had a blast! Defiantly going to be a Family tradition for now on.
