Prepare to pet, feed and photograph both adult and baby reindeer at Anchorage's fascinating Reindeer Farm. Gentle and tame, these "deer" are accustomed to visitors and are very friendly. Owner Tom Williams actually grew up on this beautiful farm and transformed it from a dairy farm to a reindeer wonderland in the late 1980s. Today, visitors can also marvel at elk and bison, and can go on a horseback ride up up the nearby Butte.

Awesome place! The scenery/setting, the animals, the friendly staff. The "behind the scenes" tour is great and highly recommend.

Y'all, we had such a great time at the Christmas festivities last night! Our little one loved getting up close to the reindeer- it was a great way to spend our first Alaskan Christmas Eve. Thank you for the hospitality, we'll for-sure be back next year! Merry Christmas & a very Happy New Year!

You HAVE to visit!!! I was giggling like a little girl feeding reindeer and my son said it was 10/10 for how much he loved it. Worth every penny!!
