Prepare to pet, feed and photograph both adult and baby reindeer at Anchorage's fascinating Reindeer Farm. Gentle and tame, these "deer" are accustomed to visitors and are very friendly. Owner Tom Williams actually grew up on this beautiful farm and transformed it from a dairy farm to a reindeer wonderland in the late 1980s. Today, visitors can also marvel at elk and bison, and can go on a horseback ride up up the nearby Butte.

We had such a fantastic time at the Fall Festival! Thank you all so much for putting this on. Brought our 3 year old and 14 month old who had a blast! This will be a new family tradition for us!!

Our family was visiting from Everett, Washington and came here with some friends. This was most definitely the high light of my trip. Chris, the guide, was amazing. She was informative, kind, patient (we have an inquisitive 4 year old) and very friendly. You can tell the animals are well cared for and loved. Interacting with these amazing animals made me feel happy. I loved being so close to them, feeding them and getting to pet them. My next trip to Alaska will include this farm again.
RecommendedA group of friends and I went on a trail ride. We had so much fun even though it was pouring down rain. The horses were great and the guides were fantastic. The tour of the farm afterwards was also fun. I have been many times but have a blast every time. It's a must see for visitors.
Was a great side trip on our recent vacation..baby reindeer - Hermes was so cute..staff was great and very knowledgeable..would do this again!!!
My daughters and I had a fantastic time at the reindeer farm! Our tour guide Eric had a great personality and we loved every minute of feeding the reindeer!
This farm is amazing! The staff is so helpful and nice and they really go out of their way to make sure you are enjoying yourself! If I could give it 10 stars, I would! LOVE!
These little dolls are so cute and well worth the visit. I was covered in kisses.
