This review is for the St. Vincent's Health Center - Mandarin. Specifically the primary care services they have at the center. They are not up front with their prices and not following up with my bloodwork results. I went in for a routine physical, which my insurance covers 100%, they end up charging for new patient visit as well which is now costing me over $150 out of pocket. I have never paid for a physical in my entire life until now. Additionally, I got bloodwork done and no one followed up with me on my results, God fo... read more

Business response:

Mr. W****** was contacted by the office manager and his concerns discussed. All billing issues were resolved to his satisfaction. The Lab issue was investigated. A breakdown in the process for assigning results to the proper provider was discovered and corrected. Thank you for assisting us in providing a better experience for our patients.

If I could give n$egative stars I would, I originally called because I was told by 1) my referring physician Ashraf Abbas at Ascension Medical Group, (*2) the schedulers at Ascension Medical Group, and 3) the schedulers at St. Elizabeth Hospital that a procedure would cost under $50. I didn't believe it when I first heard this which is why I took the extra steps of calling to verify with additional people prior to having the procedure done. Sure enough, a month later I get a bill for OVER 4 TIMES the AMOUNT told to me by at ... read more

In my 72 years I have never had was a worse six weeks in my life .I spent a year in Vietnam and saw my share of combat. St. Elizabeth Hospital treated my wife as some piece of trash. My wife was admitted to the hospital on Nov 24th because she fell down at home and could not get up. She had broken her back 6 years ago and I thought it might have something to do with that because she was always in pain. She was taken to the hospital in an ambulance and I was not allowed to visit. I was told she had a brain tumor and needed su... read more

The staff at Ascension St Vincent South treated my mother horribly. She is elderly and was very sick, but this did not prevent nurses from neglecting her for hours on end and not responding to her calls for help. They would not allow us to stay with her at night due to Covid, but she actually contracted Covid from nurses who treated other Covid patients and brought it to her. And worst of all she was struck and threatened by a PCT named Kenneth and the directors refused to believe her. Time after time they told us they could... read more

Business response:

Ascension St. Vincent's appreciates the submitted concerns and feedback. We had the opportunity to internally investigate and review these concerns in detail. Some of these concerns were escalated to the Department of Children and Families (DCF), and Ascension St. Vincent's fully cooperated with DCF's investigation. At the conclusion of their investigation, DCF closed the investigation with no indicators. In order to maintain the confidentiality of the patient's HIPAA information, we will not provide further details. Regardi... read more

This location is nothing more a strip mall urgent care that charges as an ER, due to their affiliation with Ascension Hospital. I went there during urgent care hours for a very minor injury, and got billed as an ER visit at 10X the cost without consenting to the "upgrade.". Had I known, I would have walked out. There are so many things that they are unable to provide treatment for, it amazes me that they are legally able to call themselves an ER.
