I appreciate their community involvement providing the Community Room for activities such as a place to pick up your t shirts for the Silicon Valley Purple Stride for pancreatic cancer event. Friendly helpful staff and a huge variety of sport related clothing and equipment,,and when you buy at REI as a member,,you get $ to spend again at the end of the year.

How do you expect people to spend more time outdoors when they are too busy dealing with trying to actually get the items from your store or deal with ineffective customer service? Wish I could give the Saratoga and REI’s outdated online buying experience negative stars. Probably the worst retail buying experience I’ve had across the board. Lost order (seriously, how do you not know where a $500 rooftop cargo box is? That can’t be a sustainable business model.) Horrible and unaccountable in-store service. Hey folks! My name is Shaun! Recently I attended the WFA from REI/NOLS in Palo Alto, CA. The experience left me feeling empowered with confidence and preparation. One of your outdoor instructors that was in attendance Arielle, has proven to be exceptionally knowledgeable and helpful. She was kind, funny, attentive, well-skilled, and a good listener when I mentioned my goals for this program were in part, dedication to rehabilitation from PTSD. Happy trails and thank you for being here now. I 'll see you all outdoors!
