We can testify to the love RHI has for victims of accidents, family and staff members. We are indebted to RHI for the care and treatment they gave our son, Brian after an automobile accident. We were very fortunate that the Methodist Hospital and Dr. David helped us and were introduced to RHI and their competent staff. All I can say is Wonder Of Wonders or WOW! What a team! I spent time at RHI after a TBI in 2001. They helped me to recover and reclaim my life. The staff are top notch.
When I became paralyzed January 29, 2013, I was inpatient at RHI from February 7 to March 14 learning skills for my new way of life. Then was outpatient through 2013 including taking back to driving sessions. Thankful for wonderful nurses on spinal cord unit and fabulous PT and OT therapists!
Dad had a stroke in December 2016 and went to RHI after 10 days in the hospital. He spent just over 3 weeks there. To say the least, it was as positive an experience as possible given the circumstances. Dad spent 3-4 hours a day in therapy with the goal of functional recovery. The Physical, Occupational and Speech Therapists were incredible and very professional. They were Goal oriented but tailored them specifically to Dad. Nothing seemed generic.
