they removed my old filling and recommended a new crown . i signed my treatment plan and paid my portion($376.60) at the time of treatment. months later i got a bill for $388.40. because the insurance company think it's not a necessary treatment so they only covered a filling cost. they said they gonna take care of it .that was a last fall. now i'm keep getting a bills that i don't even responsible for. how can we trust a doctor's treatment from now on. if there is a 0 star rating available, i will give it a 0.
I would not recommend Refresh Dental. I tried to be their patient for a few years, but had a revolving door of dentists seeing me with conflicting opinions and options. A denture they made for me continued to break, and they ultimately wanted me to pay for a new one. I agreed but then after an additional issue, the Dr. said I needed to have all of my teeth removed and wanted me to undertake an expensive implant option. Do NOT go here. Please! I went to this location in October 2018. Since then, I've had 2 dental visits with another dentist (2nd one was today). For starters, with Refresh, I was there for nearly 3 hours. I had requested a cleaning and a checkup. After being there for 3 hours for just the X-rays, gum check, etc., they said they didn't have record of a cleaning being needed and they didn't have room in the schedule to clean my teeth. My wife and I started going to Refresh Dental around a year ago, and we have been very pleased with the friendly atmosphere and courteous staff of Dr. Raj Baji. Dr.k is the only dentist I will see. I have always been afraid of dentists but dr.k makes me feel very relaxed and never have any pain while he is working on me. He's the best
Be warned ...Dr. John Y Lu of Refresh Dental has had his licensed revoked by the Ohio Dental Board as recently as April 2017! Infractions include bogus prescriptions, missed diagnosis', improper crown/filling fitment, etc. Just google "john y lu" and you'll find the legal documents that support this. Long story short, he performed an "emergency" root canal on my pregnant wife in September 2017. 9 visits later, she is is still in pain...her crown never fit right, and now due to an infection (caused by him not prescribing ... read more
