Dr. Utterback listened to me and helped me figure out what my diagnosis is. She is very compationate and after seeing 3 other psychiatrists in the past she was the one who finally figured out my complex presentation. I recommend her to all my friends and colleagues. If you are looking for a smart, empathetic, warm, and truly caring psychiatrist go to her.
Dr. Utterback is truly inspiring. Her compassion, listening skills, and ability to quickly assess and determine her method of care is incredible. In the hardest of times, you can always count on her support. I can tell she has a great relationship with her patients and makes you feel like more than just a client. If you're looking for a psychiatrist, she's the one to go to.
Dr. Utterback is a phenomenal psychiatrist. She really listens to what is going on with me and in my life. I had cancer and I lost all hope. She IS what I needed to get through those very difficult years. She cares and is very knowledgable about medications. I am finally stable after many tries with other doctors. I also sent my young adult niece to her and my niece raves about her. You will not go wrong with the kindness, care and expertise.
I liked Dr. Utterback in the beginning, but she quickly lost my trust. She focused on things in our sessions which were not a priority to me (i.e., kept telling me I should date when I said I had no interest) and she over-charges for EVERYTHING in addition to not accepting insurance. I would not recommend her for these reasons. She is very nice but not a good pick for anyone who needs somebody to focus on what they want to focus on and not have to spend every cent you have to go to her.
