Hoagie Memories They are still the best. I remember as a teenager going to Red's and buying a simply made hoagie for 55 cents. I recently was in South Philly and stopped by to get one. The price isn't the same 35 years later but they are still my favorite. Make sure you get there before 12 noon. They sell out fast!

I used to go here all the time back in 1967,68,69......we had a family of 8....we loved your Italian Hoagie! !!! Back then, I went to BOK Tech Vocational School at the same time as I went to St Maria Goretti......my dad would come pick me up and we would go straight to Red's !!! We STILL TALK ABOUT THOSE GREAT HOAGIES !!! Nobody makes anything in Any West Coast State like those .....YUM !!!! WISH I HAD ONE NOW !!! Was a Navy brat going to Southwark Elementary in the mid-80s. Used to hoard my allowance so I could get half an Italian hoagie rather than eat the nasty school lunches. Haven't eaten a better sandwich anywhere since. Warms my heart to see the place is still there.
