The charming, intimate ambiance and fantastically prepared food make the Red Stag Supperclub an excellent dinner option. There is an emphasis on fresh and organic ingredients and - where possible - local produce is used. The food is tasty and brilliantly simplistic, from the goat cheese ravioli to the Limousin beef burger. The restaurant is also the first LEED approved restaurant in Minneapolis and is committed to reducing its carbon footprint wherever possible. Call ahead for reservations.

Small but diverse menu with delicious choices. Very good and knowledgeable service with an excellent wine list.
First time and first off - let me say, sat at the bar and had great service with Peter. Got right in with no wait on a Sunday morn and since I only knew they have a fine list of organic foods and ingredients I enjoyed a beer while waiting for order to be delivered. My husband enjoyed a spicy bloody Mary that was as worthy as one he would make for himself. The glass of water was crystal clean with crystal clean filtered water as well as ice cubes. That says something when the water impresses you! - Had the veggie Benedict and... read more
Here for the Land Stewardship Project's fundraiser breakfast - a common way Red Stag gives to healthy food and community. Listening to speakers involved in community gardening. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming. My breakfasts features delicious chicken-of the woods mushrooms and the best coffee in Minnesota. What's not to love? Now off to select some heirloom seeds I just learned about but will definitely be back soon! Thanks Red Stag.
Meal was ok. Over seasoned. Salty. Wife's steak was supposed to be medium and came in medium-well. Only really great part of the meal was the service. Can tell recent departure of the head chef is noticeable.
What a 5 star menu for every taste. My dish, a long time favorite, was the tastiest rendition in all my recollection. Attentive staff kept us sated at all times. It was well worth my 60 minute drive. If I do not go again or often, it will not be for lack of desire.
My boyfriend and I traveled from wisconisn and this restaurant was recommended by a friend so we decided to check it out. I'm very glad that we did, the staff was amazing! Valet parking staff was very helpful and we had an amazing waitress! I can say, by far the best meal we have had! The food was delicious and our drinks were very tasty. I would definitely recommend this restaurant to friends and families
By far, my favorite restaurant in the Twin Cities. When I lived here, it was a weekly ritual. Now that I've moved away, it's always the first and sometimes the only place I visit. Best fried cheese curds around. (Sorry, State Fair.)
found my favorite drink here, 2 gingers ….well cared for plates
A bit overrated, but the live music is excellent.
