About this business

The charming, intimate ambiance and fantastically prepared food make the Red Stag Supperclub an excellent dinner option. There is an emphasis on fresh and organic ingredients and - where possible - local produce is used. The food is tasty and brilliantly simplistic, from the goat cheese ravioli to the Limousin beef burger. The restaurant is also the first LEED approved restaurant in Minneapolis and is committed to reducing its carbon footprint wherever possible. Call ahead for reservations.

Horrible service...Our drinks sat at the bar for almost 30 minutes before we actually got them.

Service was poor, beyond poor. Prices were high for what you received on your plate. It took 30 minutes to get our first drink, had to ask the manager to get our second drinks, but on the bright side our water glasses were never empty. $50 for 2 drinks and a steak and you leave hungry, not so great!

I like the Red Stag, great atmosphere, had a really good Sazarac by bartender Nick! Loved the smoked potatoes served with the cedar planked salmon! The salmon overdone for me but I forgot to ask for rare so my fault, will ask for rare next time! The lemon meringue pie incredible!!

The old fashions (seasonal and Wisconsin) were amazing. We had a party of five. We all ordered something different, and all of the meals were absolutely delicious!

GREAT BRUNCH!! There was not one complaint from eight of us - just yumms and wows at how good the food was!! I think there were three Eggs Benedict's, pancakes, french toast and omelets. Highly recommend this establishment! <3

I love Smelt and I know I can always get some crispy small fish at the Red Stag. Everyone knows the reason you eat smelt is for the dipping sauce - once the fish are gone - ask for a spoon - they're that good. Also, the "in Cahoots" Surly/Bent Paddle (2 of my all time favorite brewers in MN) collaborative Belgian style ale was outstanding.
