I enjoyed my dining experience. The service was prompt and courteous, food was fresh and nicely prepared. I just wish you received two sides with your entree.
Worst Service Ever.... Waiter acted like he couldn't careless about his job. Mac & Cheese was not creamy it was watery... This is our 2nd time and last time here. Music is loud it's hard to hear someone across from you.
This was not my first visit and it definitely won't be my last. The food is amazing (the mac and cheese is to die for) and the staff is always friendly. On our last visit (9/15/15 evening), our waitress was Nyota and she was so unbelievably friendly and kind. She was attentive, but not overbearing, and made sure everything was perfect. The Hubby made us come back again because he loves it so much.
Fabulous food, sauces and service. Our server, Demetrious, is what really stood out. He was a joy to talk with, he made us laugh and made our experience wonderful.
The food was ok, although the meat was a bit fatty for the price they were charging. The reason for the two stars is the service. We were there at 8 on a Friday night, and it took us 50 minutes to get our food. They did not refill our drinks ever. While I might understand slower service if they were packed, they were most certainly not. There were others around us who waited a long time for their food as well. This is the best "nice" sit-down BBQ restaurant in Detroit. Unlike the "other" place, they actually know how to smoke meat properly and their ribs are excellent. The sauces are fantastic, the mac and cheese is on-point, but most importantly: The service exceeds almost every other restaurant in the city. The service is EXCELLENT.
