Red waffles with chicken, cornbread, crab cakes & mac n cheese with greens. All great dishes & this fed 4 comfortably as appetizers
It is not soul food for sure.
Awesome! Enough said. I think they make better cornbread than we ever could wish for in Alabama. The area is PERFECTLY safe. There is Whole Foods right across from the metro stop. Definitely plan on going back the next time in NYC.
I am actually here right now with a friend and witnessed the most sickening thing. Literally. Right in the middle of our second course, we witnessed a woman being led/dragged ACROSS the restaurant.... Until she threw up, right in the middle of it 🤮 Why??!! Couldn't they have given her a napkin and sick/paper bag? So that the rest of us, did not have to witness it. Fail!! 'Common sense', is hardly common. I am disappointed and yes, nauseated!
The food was delicious. The shrimp and grits were fabulous; the chicken and waffles great. The service was superb.
The biscuits and Snicker doodle waffle are special. And the chicken is definitely a highlight.

I had the pleasure of dining here yesterday and want to really thank the management we had a AMAZING experience , we ate the corn , broccoli , mac & cheese , wings and let's not forget the delicious corn bread . Everything was so so good ����������
