Amazing food! Deviled eggs were outstanding and cornbread is moist and perfectly sweet with honey butter. Honey Yardbird and Shrimp and Grits were delicious! S'mores dessert did not disappoint. Terrific service and an overall wonderful experience!
Food was absolutely amazing!!! Wonderful service, great vibe, and atmosphere. It was the best restaurant we've been to in a while. Would definitely recommend this restaurant and we will be back!!! I wish we had one in DC.
Great music and atmosphere
I ordered the Hot Honey Garlic Yardbird. The chicken was delicious and very tender. It was not overly greasy and had a great exterior. It had an audible crunch that held testament to how crispy and crunchy the chicken was. This to me is what a great piece of fried chicken should have. The honey flavor was slightly sweet and did not overpower the heat of the peppers but complimented it instead. The mashed potatoes were supple and soft with a creamy gravy. Really tasty shrimp and grits. The service was good and the prices were reasonable.
One of the best dining experiences I’ve had in a while in the city. Service was very detail oriented and super friendly. The server was very knowledgeable on the menu and i believe he was in training. I’ve lived in the neighborhood for over 6 years and this was my first time dining. Will absolutely be coming back to eat.
What can I say but I'm going back this weekend. Excellent food, friendly staff, Oh and you will not leave hungry. Have my Yardbird ready
