Took my two daughters to Red Rooster of Harlem yesterday. It was crowded and we placed a dinner reservation and waited. My daughters had the herb roasted chicken and the Aunt Mabel's dumplings while I had the yard bird for our entrees. Prior to dinner, we had the wild wild wings, chicken n waffles and deviled eggs for appetizers and sipped on mint lemonade. I took my family there. The atmosphere was good but the food and the service was horrible!!! We were mortified to have spent that kind of money and not be satisfied! I know you're never supposed to say never, but...
What a wonderful experience. Could not have a bad night if you tried. Music, service, drinks, food, atmosphere and other friendly dinners made it a memorable evening. I will make sure next time I'm in NYC to come for another visit!

I had a great time. I liked the comfortable and casual atmosphere. The bartenders were attentive. The drinks were great...quality liquor..and just the right amount. The DJ 's played really good music ...music that you don't always hear ...the patrons are very friendly. Def worth the ride from Brooklyn
