My first philly cheesesteak...in PHILLY! Did not disappoint!!
What a great fried chicken sandwich! Chicken thigh meat fried in beef tallow with a lemon pepper glaze and coleslaw and a house sauce. Personally would have love more tanginess but the whole thing together was a solid and pleasant surprise. Beef tallow fries reminded me of fries from my childhood. Conveniently located near Independence Hall and lots of sight seeing. Very enjoyable and memorable and unique fired chicken sandwich.
We recently had dinner at The Red Owl, and everything was excellent! The food and service were outstanding. The menu has been updated with delicious fall selections—we tried several and loved them all. The seasonal drinks were also creative and perfectly matched the autumn vibe. It was impressive to watch the staff work together like a well-oiled machine. Thanks to the entire team for a fantastic dining experience!
My experience working in the Banquet Kitchen at Hotel Monaco was extremely disappointing and unprofessional. The environment became toxic due to poor leadership, unfair scheduling practices, and a complete lack of communication and respect from management. I was hired as a Banquet Cook and worked hard, stayed professional, and followed my availability and schedule as posted on HotSchedules. Crab and spinach dip was fantastic (just the right amount of spice) and my bartender Nicholas gave such great service.
