RecommendedWe go to the Red Osier every new years eve to celebrate not only new year's but also it is the anniversary of the day my husband asked me to marry him. The food is always awesome. This year was our first time going with the new ownership. The food was still excellent and all of the employees were so cheerful. The owner was right out there helping to clean up and make sure everyone was well taken care of. It even seemed like the service was faster than in the past.
Absolutely Amazing!! This place is legendary for their prime rib, & with good reason. It's simply the best.
New Years Eve was our second visit to the Red Osier since the new owners took over. Our first visit was exceptional. Our visit this time was not as good but we thought maybe it was due to the sheer volume on that night. The issues we had would never stop us from returning. Awesome food, awesome service. Never had a complaint in the times that I've been here!
We waited 2 hours before we even had our salads! I never post poor reviews... but I don't feel like the restaurant compensated us properly for the extremely poor service we received. When we finally had our entrees, the food was delicious- but it was 9:00 at night and anything would have tasted great. The night we went the Red Osier was understaffed and the poor wait staff was completely underwater-- I believe they should have given us complimentary appetizers to hold us over-- or at least more bread! Went on a Friday night & were seated within 5 mins of our reservation (6:30). Food was excellent. Service was just good - it WAS a Friday, however!?!
Fantastic!!! I have never been and am extremely glad I went. Great service. The owner went to every table as they were finishing up and asked how your dinner was. I was very impressed.
The food was very good. Had prime rib & lobster. But I do have to say that the service was not like it was in the past. Had to ask the server 3 times for ice for my wine & also had to ask for rolls. The person that poured the au jus on my prime rib poured it all over my potatoes.
