Traveling down Route 1 and needing to get something to eat, I looked to the Internet. I found The Red Onion and we weren't disappointed. After a 20 minute wait we were seated. Gotta love a restaurant with homemade salads on the menu. The 2 inch Pork Chop was wonderful!! Cobblers were good too!!

I recommend you put this restaurant located in Equality Illinois on your list of culinary stops. Very nice, clean newly remodeled. All the food looked excellent. I had the ribs (Wet). Excellent very good. When they tell you it is a full rack believe them. Two huge racks which filled the entire plate. Served with baked potato & salad and baked beans. � I LOVED the Ribs!! My friend n I love to try new places. Well I have never been here but she had, she was bragging about how good the food was. Boy was she right!!! And she loves to be right at times hahahaha! Sometimes other places part of the food isn't hot, well I have to compliment y'all on your food � "It was hot through out the meal and I was impressed" so You get 5����� from me! Thank you for great food � next time I will try the pork chops! �
Wonderful! We loved it! I had been a couple of times before, but my boyfriend hadn't. It was very busy, but our waitress was excellent! My glass never got empty. A bit of a wait for our food, but SO worth it! Everything was perfect...the bread, the salad, the potato, and the prime rib! Hard pressed to find prime rib as good anywhere in this area! Can't wait to go back. Didn't get my favorite coconut meringue pie this time.
Great food-- steaks, ribs, fried chicken!!! Wonderful service!
