I had fried chicken mashed potatos and gravy and macaroni and cheese. My wife ate steak and shrimp with slaw and baked potatoe. All this for under $40 and it was delicious. Highly recommend
The blackened Tilapia was burnt and bitter, had a long wait between the salad and main course.

I will give them 1 star because they do have good food. However? The lack of customer service and the rudeness of the waitresses make it a terrible place to eat! I will no longer spend another dime in this establishment without a formal apology for having my wife and I wait 45 minutes without being seated or even recognized by the waitresses that saw us numerous times before we decided to just leave! So sad that this has to be this way, I take pride in spending my money within my own little community.
We ate there over the wknd,had steak and lobster, it was great,and our server was perfect, so nice and keep your drinks full,we will definitely be back.
I had never heard of The Red Onion until last week when some friends ask my husband and I if we wanted to go eat there. We went Saturday night..Our friends came from Kentucky and then from our house it was about another 45 minute drive. When we arrived at the restaurant, there were cars lined up and down the street! We had to wait about 45 minutes to be seated and about an hour wait for our main course, but we're not complaining, because that is to be expected when it's that busy. It was so excellent. Prime rib was great. Will be back.
Our first visit there. I got the ribeye and my wife got the fish. Then we got the banana pudding and the coconut pie. Everything was to die for. Our friends we were with had been there before. We will be back.
