We visited on Friday, May 19. We've been several times and enjoyed delicious food and good service. This night we had friends with us who had never been there. The food was good but the service was the slowest we have ever experienced. Took forever to get our food. Everyone around us was being served with no problem. Not sure what was going on!
It was Mother's Day and it was very busy and very unorganized the servers were exhausted you could tell by their facial expressions and their body language. Our food took forever, it was barely luke warm. I do believe the gr.beans that we were served were straight from the can, no seasoning or heat what so ever. This is our 3rd time visiting your restaurant and I was very disappointed . Management could have done better with the scheduling of servers and food preparation.
It was ok. I realize it was MOTHER'S DAY when we went and We had reservations, but I still wasn't that impressed with the food. Our reservation was at 2:15 finally got our main course around 4:00 p.m.
Great food for a very reasonable price, served by great staff. Even though I'm an hour away, I've been several times and it's worth the trip.
I have eaten at the Red Onion a couple of times, the pork chop is wonderful...!!!
The food is Amazing & the service is too!! My husband and I have been there several times, and we are always satisfied!
It's a great place to visit. Great food and friendly service. Hidden gem in southern il.
