Ribeye steak was awesome...Italian beef was awesome! fresh baked bread with strawberry butter 😋😋 This was our 1st visit and we will def b back!! Table next to us had a 2" pork chop that looked wonderful...will have to try that next time we visit. The "cutie pies" are a MUST try...get one "to go" cause u will b stuffed from all the great food u just ate 😉 We will recommend to friends to dine at the Red Onion....great food in the little town of Equality IL. **it was recommended to us by our family from So. Illinois**
Food was good and plentiful. The service was excellent.
Food was great !! Had the Chicken and dumplings But I got mostly the broth :/ but other than that all of our food was great .
My husband and I ate at the Red Onion today and the food and service was excellent! We both had a ribeye steak and they were so good! The server was prompt and polite! We will be back!

My wife and I loved it. She had the sirloin steak and I had the ribeye steak. They were cooked perfect. We traveled 90 miles from Rockport in. We will be back.
My wife, daughter and I went here for the first time tonight for our anniversary. I had a ribeye, my wife had the crab cakes and the daughter had a chicken sandwich. All worth the drive from Desoto. I was worried about the steak. Ordered medium rare and the first couple of bites were closer to medium. But away from the one edge the steak was done as requested. Not thick but good marbling and good flavor. Crystal liked the crab cakes and Catherine liked the sandwich. Nice restaurant. Good food, good service.
Love this place!! The food is excellent and the staff is so nice.
Great place to eat & have a gathering. The only thing is go early before the medium rare & medium prime rib is sold out . They start serving prime rib at 3:00 pm Friday and Saturday . The other items are very good too , ribs steaks , pork chops, etc .
