Well for my first time eating at the Red Onion it was really good. Went in close to closing time didn't think the food would be too good but boy was I wrong. It was a great atmosphere and my stake was cooked just the way I like it and my chess fries and salid was great. I will definitely be going back .
Our first visit. They were extremely busy. Am not sure the servers have had training. But the food was excellent! It's a long trip for us but was well worth it.
Best steak ever. My family took me to southern Illinois for my birthday weekend, we went to the red onion just to do something different and to our surprise it's on the list of must go back every time. Very friendly staff. Love this place!!!!
Sooooo good! Would definitely go back! We went on a Friday night while staying nearby at Garden of the Gods and it was so delicious. Alligator bites were fun to try (and delicious!) and we both had a steak. Four thumbs up!
Great staff. My stomach is a little picky, up on asking they provided me with something not on the menu. The price was good and I had enough left I took home supper, still didn't eat all of it. So portion size is good bathroom clean,floors clean decor nice. So would recommend
The steak was very good but the drive up there was pretty long. The ferry at cave in rock was closed so that added to the trip.
I had the ribeye steak yesterday and it was delicious along with the sides!!
