Red Robin isn't the only place to get gourmet burgers in the Pacific Northwest. This similarly named burger joint has been voted "Best Burger" by the readers of the Seattle Weekly. The reasons are obvious, big juicy patties, fresh buns and crisp lettuce, not to mention fair prices. At this chic Red Mill Burgers joint, try the rich Bacon Deluxe with Cheese, the Veggie Burger or the Chicken Burger. The thick milkshakes and malts are nothing to sneer at either.

Overrated Burger Joint – One of the most popular burger places in Seattle is plagued with long lines, slow cooks, and a bad attitude towards technology. While the burgers are usually above average, the onion rings are the best thing about this place. Stay away from the below-par french fries. You can get these freeze dried potatoes at any other place. Even though it may seem like a fast-food burger place, it takes longer to receive a regular cheeseburger than going to a sit-down restaurant. Telling customers not to use their... read more
Crappy shakes! – McD's, hard to say, has better tasting shakes than this place. I despise McD's, never eat there, but will be honest in saying that Red Mill's shakes are crap!
Good Prices, Good Food – It's darn good for a fast food like burger joint. The few times I've been there I have been impressed with the service and the food. However the lemonade wasn't very good the one time I tried it. The service is pretty fast and the guys who work there are as friendly as you can get, they are food service workers after all.
Best Burger and Fries – Best fries, shakes and burgers. Lively atmosphere. Fun music always playing.
Where's the health department? – It was all going well until they gave our order to someone else who picked through the burger, returned it, since it wasn't his, and then they tried to give it to us. We had to kindly ask them to make a new one, which was quite an imposition to the person helping us. I guess they usually get away with that one. One word, gross.
Credit card machine needed – I have been to Red Mill Burgers a few times and I really like the food, but I have passed them by about a hundred times before hungry because I NEVER have cash. A business that is supposed to be the best burger place in town (and at Yuppie prices to boot) needs to allow plastic.
Call ahead for timely lunch – Red Mill is a great place to pick up a quick lunch. Burgers are tasty and fresh. It's always so crowded at lunch time, call ahead to pick up your burger when you arrive.
Overrated – Salty. You'll be asking for water as the evening progresses. It's a nice "burnt" beef taste with fresh lettuce, tomato and onion, or whatever combination you may have ordered. It's all very fresh, clean and high quality. If they could just back off on the salt, add some better seating, and speed up the program a little...then I'd go there often. Others may chime "it's part of the ambience" but I will stick with my moans for comfort and convenience.
memories? NOT MINE! – this place is being rated on what it was once not on what it has now become. all burgers are pre-made manufactured patties little or no different then anyplace else and the french fries are bargain priced frozen institutional quality not fresh cut or close to top quality fried in often tired oil. the name and location are interesting but the rest is bottom of the line for bugers and fries. i try it every few month's hoping for better to no avail.
