Red Robin isn't the only place to get gourmet burgers in the Pacific Northwest. This similarly named burger joint has been voted "Best Burger" by the readers of the Seattle Weekly. The reasons are obvious, big juicy patties, fresh buns and crisp lettuce, not to mention fair prices. At this chic Red Mill Burgers joint, try the rich Bacon Deluxe with Cheese, the Veggie Burger or the Chicken Burger. The thick milkshakes and malts are nothing to sneer at either.

One of my favorite burgers – I like Red Mill's Double Bacon Cheeseburger alot. Thick crunchy bacon, salty cheesey meat patties contrasted with juicy sweet tomatoes and crunchy lettuce. Then the special Red Mill sauce hits your taste buds - it's a kind of smoky mayo. And the onions. The fresh bun is toasted and it's crunchy too. Juicy. Crunchy. Sweet. Savory. Salty. Mmmm . . Mmmm!! It's not gourmet, it's just a classic American burger that beats most in the city of Seattle. The onion and fries are reliably hot and crispy. Ask... read more
Best Seattle burger, onion rings, & vanilla shake – If I want a burger and have time to drive to Red Mill, this is where I'm going. Onion rings were a wee overdone, but still quite flavorful and I would recommend them. The vanilla shake was perfection. I thought Red Mill surpassed In-N-Out in CA. It's a close call between Red Mill in Seattle and the Cherry Cricket in Denver (featured on Man vs Food). 5 star burger, onion rings, and shake (didn't have to wait too long either, even though it was packed on a weekend).
Does anyone in Seattle know what a good burger is? – I am originally from eastern Washington, The only thing I miss from that side of the state is the burgers. Just because it comes on a fancy bun with unusual toppings doesn't make it a good burger. I had driven by Red Mill a few times and saw the long line leading out the door. I figured if people were willing to wait it must good. While it wasn't horrible it was not worth the wait. The worst thing about the place is the veggie burgers. My boyfriend had the worst gas ever a... read more
Creative burgers, good quality – I saw this on the food network and knew that i had to try it. They have a nice menu, with lots of good burger choices. I got the one with roasted peppers on it, which were really very delicious. I opted not to go for the house made smokey mayonaise, which may be one of the reasons I thought it was lacking in flavor so its kind of my own fault. My boyfriend really enjoyed his bleu cheese burger. I felt that they used a high quality of food here, nice buns, fresh veggies etc. Some people compla... read more
Really a greasy spoon – I am amazed at the good reviews of this greasy spoon. The meat is low grade, cooked on a flat grill in a kitchen that looks dirty. The burger comes out so greasy it is terrible.I don't understand what anyone sees that is good in this place.I would never return again
Okay food. Very very bad parking. – So I got curious about all the fuss about this place and gave it a try. Burgers were okay not really great as many people seem to think. Parking lot was way too small for the size of the restaurant and the usual crowd they seem to expect. I really don't see any good reason for a restaurant to not have an adequate parking space other than trying to brag about the long lines of cars waiting to get in. I'm definitely not coming back.
Food for cool people – I was telling a friend how awful this place was and remembered this website so here I am. I used to eat at Red Mill a lot when I first bought a car and had a small income, but now that I'm older I realize how badly we were treated at the time. There has never been a restaurant of any variety that had more contempt for its customers. - credit cards not accepted - 'no cell phones' signs - long lines, long wait - very little seating - order was constantly recorded wrong - inconsistant quality. We finally ... read more
We Keep Coming Back! – There's a reason why Red Mill is bantered about whenever folks are discussing the best burgers in Seattle. Their burgers are consistently great, and that is the reason we keep coming back.
Best... – Really, the best burgers in Seattle eaten sometimes at the dirtiest tables in Seattle. Nobody keeps an eye on cleaning where guests are eating.
