andanotherone – I went w/ group of friends for a bday. There was a nice mix of crowd. Music is just ok. But the atmosphere is great. Loved the interior. It's nice to have these kind of trendy places so close to home and I don't have to go all the way to DC. Overall, it's a nice place to go to just chill and hang out.
Pretentious – This bar/restaraunt is modern and pretentious so if this is what you are looking for, then its the perfect place to meet some friends for drinks (except for the high cost of drinks). However, if you are trying to get the true Baltimore experience, then this is not the best place to go. I would skip it and head down to smaller bars in Fell's Point and Canton areas....
Trendy & Hip – I was happy initially to find red maple, the food is great , I love the music, & it has a very modern look. Weekends are tricky it is so crowded & the wait staff is is rude & pushy. Don't stand by the service bar or you are in for a surprise. Try the mango martini it is delicious.
User review by mzlpk – It's a cool space, very well done, but as a place to go it's overpriced, too full of itself, and waaay overrated. If I want to be surrounded by cheesy suburban pseudo-hipsters while spending too much money, I'll go hang out at the mall or something.

NYC in Baltimore – I was taken here for my birthday and had a great time. The drinks were made well, the tapas were small(even for tapas) but very good. It definitely gets crowded, especially on weekends so reservations are definitely a good idea. The wait staff is a little less than attentive but not so bad that it can't be overlooked.
