The hamburgers don’t seem to be as good as they used to be. The malts are out of this world ! The waitstaff are super friendly and accommodating !
I’ve only been to Red Knapp’s one time before when I was a little kid. My amazing girlfriend and I always like to ride our motorcycles down Main Street this time of year. We saw it and since it was the first warm/nice day of the spring so far we wanted ice cream! I love this place, it just is like stepping into another era and it’s a very comfortable environment. Wow! What a disappointment. I’ve been hearing how I gotta have a Red Knapp’s malt since I moved here...was downtown, decided to grab one for the hubby and I. First the girl originally making them, spilled one all over, cleaned it up and just walked away to take orders at the tables. The second girl finally realized how long I’d been waiting and asked. My husband absolutley favorite place for strawberry shake!!
The food tasted great. The burger was cooked perfectly and the malt was delicious. Our server, Julia, was fantastic. Will definitely recommend this establishment to everyone
This definitely has to be a new owner, or someone bought the name and is running the business under a name they figured would be an automatic Plus for them. The chocolate malt was delicious hands down one of the best. My issue is with the appearance of the servers. There were two young women working both had dirty uniforms, hair that look like they rolled out of bed and came to work and they looked very uncomfortable.
