I had the Red Iguana Traditional chicken enchiladas. They were delicious. The chicken was shredded perfectly. The red sauce was mildly spicy and incredibly delicious. The salsa is the best that I have ever tasted.
I only had a few minutes before my flight, took the Green Line (1st time) from The Grand America (1st time) to visit the most amazing little Dive, EVAH! This place was recommended to me, on my stay in SLC, by a world traveler! Being from Dallas, TX, we have our fair share (understatement) of Mexican, etc. Fare, but the food/service/music/vibe, should not be overlooked as you trail off the beaten path! I own 4 restaurants in Dallas, Irving, Plano and Forney, TX and Loved, Loved, this place! Great Job!

First time to the Red iguana but definitely will be my new favorite place when I'm in Salt Lake City. The food was fantastic the homemade guacamole is delicious and the service and margaritas don't get any better than this place. Viva Red Iguana!!
