This was our second trip to this restaurant. We are out of towers and it is impossible to find good Mexican Food in Virginia Beach, so we were blown away with their food and service. We are originally from South Texas, so we appreciate good Mexican food.
This was my first Red Iguana experience, however I've known about it for years. I used to recommend it to guests when I worked at a hotel nearby, but I had to warn them about the wait. Even their website says "worth the wait"! But I have to say, all the hype is true! Best Mexican food I've had! I ordered the pork chili verde burritos. The portions are HUGE! Food is alway so good! 20 years now. Salsa is fabulous.
Excellent, fast service. I never leave reviews, but this place calls for one. The Tacos Don Ramon plate was outstanding.
Great food and great service. Arrive early, when we finished at 5:00 PM the place was already packed. Don’t make the mistake I did, make sure to order from the daily special. I discovered they are not on the menu. Enjoy!!

First time there, had the enchilada special and it was excellent as was the margarita.
Amazing! We live in Florida & on our annual drive to Utah to ski, this is a must stop! The food is fabulous, service is fantastic. This year I had the Gringas & my husband said next year he’s ordering it!
