First time at Red 36 in Mystic and unfortunately not a good experience, especially since we were there celebrating my birthday. We were seated upstairs in the corner, and once our food came, there were probably a dozen flies flying around and landing on our food. Super fresh oysters and their scallop dish was absolutely delicious!!! Everything was so fresh and flavorful. Our waitress was also super friendly and accommodating, which really made the experience even better. She was so nice and attentive, and you could tell she genuinely cared about making sure we had a great experience. Red36 is definitely my favorite place to go in Mystic! We are here on two occasions. The first night we both had warm lobster rolls. My wife said hers was very good, but, the amount of butter on my dish drowned out my slightly fishy lobster. The second visit, my wife had two appetizers, a crabcake and fish taco. She liked both of them very much. I had a Cod sandwich, which was excellent.
