How in the world does this company have an A+ rating? As an insurance agent, I think they are a nightmare to work with. They know nothing about insurance and are not licensed. I am told conflicting information each time I call, and I don't think they've ever approved a certificate of insurance from one of my clients because they constantly change their requirements. Shady, incompetent, and unprofessional.

Where should I start? Their computer system kept showing that my insurances needed to be renewed. I had 2 different insurance companies that took extra time out of their day to try and fix things in their end--not to mention all of my time that I wasted calling and waiting on hold. This is my 5th incident that has wasted my time since I started working with Compliance Depot. I would also give these people zero stars if possible. They do not understand the insurance process. They send letters indicating they will accept blanket endorsement pages yet they take weeks to review and they reject them because blanket endorsements require a contract signed by both parties and they say their clients refuse to sign contracts - which is incorrect. If there was zero stars, I would have selected it. The Compliance Depot (CD) onboarding process was painful and slow. The Phone 'Rep' didn't seem to understand the process. The multiple weeks wait between when CD acts and when the Company we were working for reacted seems designed to drag out the payment process and of course increase their float. The worst call center I have ever done business through. Agents are trained to politely shrug you off after they do not know how to fix their problems. Had to tell them how to fix my W9 after sending it a dozen times. They sit behind an automated system that emails you it is incomplete. It never tells you what the problem is. Obviously upper management or supervisors do not respond to the horrible reviews. If I go through this on the next job where a company uses CD they will need to work with them. Absolutely terrible to work with. I have worked with HUNDREDS of companies providing certificates of insurance and Compliance Depot is with out question the worst.

Compliance Depot has been a nightmare. Just getting registered with them has proved to a living nightmare. We have been on the phone with them a half dozen times, after the supposedly easy online process failed miserably. Their phone operators apparently don't know how to systematically diagnose a registration submission and give complete feedback. When we call, we are told there is a verbiage error. I have a heating and air business in Concord, NC. I have two apartment buildings I would for and they started using Compliance depot for the vendor approval process. Last year it took me months to get approved. We went round and round with them. It was a ridiculous process. They were back and forth with my insurance company. Asking for things that cannot be done. Zero stars. This company runs a scam that preys on small businesses. They have terrible customer service and do not keep their word. We are owed thousands of dollars for a ******** contract that Compliance Depot services as a third party pay depot. They are holding our payment based on unreasonable insurance verbiage that is a moving target. Our reputable insurance carrier provides them what they need and then the request changes to another form or new wording. It never ends. ******** ******** Charlotte, NC
