Paid $100 for an application and it is impossible to get anyone on the phone to call you back. Been calling for 2 weeks. Going to have to drive up there today and see what's going on. Feels like I got scammed
Awful experience. They bought out a place I'd lived in for 8 years, then raised the rent $200+ without making any improvements to the property. When I gave notice to move out, people within the company did not effectively communicate with each other regarding my move out process. Two months after I vacated the property, I asked for my deposit back (AL law says it must be returned within 60 days). The communication between the leasing agent and us was absolutely horrendous. It was not communicated to any of my roommates that each person (resident, co-signers, and guarantors) would all have to fill out a $100 application fee. This would have brought the total of application fees up to $600, which quite frankly is ridiculous to not even be guaranteed approval to rent a property.
