So happy to have found this eye doctor! He was fantastic with my kids and helped my husband with a problem he's had for years that no eye doctor managed to solve. Kind, thorough, and just all around awesome.

My experience with Dr. Hermida was great, he was respectful and full of energy and passion for his job. I never new I needed glasses for distance vision and I was very uncomfortable with the idea of wearing them since I myself am very self conscious. He assisted me with that issue by helping me find a frame that fit my face well and wasn’t uncomfortable to wear. These days I’m wearing them regularly at work and when driving and I’m glad he and I took the time to find a worthwhile pair.

Accepted me same day on a very worrisome issue, correctly identified the issue, described what was happening brilliantly and reviewed the treatment plan in detail. Great experience - 5 stars. Thanks P.S. Staff also awesome

I'm sad to read the poor reviews here. We have been coming to Dr Hermida for a couple of years and have never experienced any of the situations described in them. We were given his name on a recommendation from a friend and we love him and his staff. He is really really good with my kids and has a great sense of humor. Most importantly we have had great medical advice and help from him.

I've been going to Dr. Hermida for years, and recommend him highly! Instead of going to the emergency room, he would rather us call him direct so we don't have to pay the high cost of the ER. Great manner, personable.

My husband went in to buy contact lenses for me but was asked by the receptionist to make an appointment so I could personally get them. He did and so I went in the very next day. My appointment was at 10:30 am; I was there until 11:00 am and Dr. Hermida never arrived. What really surprises me is that the receptionist chose the date and time so I can't understand why he was so irresponsible. Very unprofessional. It's not the first time I have to wait this long so I finally decided to change Drs.

I brought my 12 year old son in for follow up eye exam. The appointment was made a week in advance. When we arrived we were told to have a seat. After 15 min. I asked If Dr. Hernias was in and I was told no. After 15 more minutes I asked what's going on. I was told in matter of fact manner he went to get ink and got "STUCK". Needless to say I was angry. Never again! Very unprofessional! Wouldn't recommend my dog to go there.

We have just come back from Eye Care Assoc of Brevard after seeing Dr Raymond A Hermida, DO. This was our third trip there. I’ll explain below: The date of her first exam was July 18, 2016. During that exam he told us that Hailey’s eyes were getting better and he was decreasing her prescription down one level. Her level hasn’t changed since she was 10. She is now 16. Last July it was still the same, and then in Jan she went for her contact exam which matched her glasses. We assumed the doct

Staff was rude and unconcerned. Never talked with the Doctor because of staff.
