I’ve been a resident of Ravines of Westar for 1.5 years and really love it here! The office headed by Elizabeth has been nothing but helpful with whatever comes up. I love the people and all of the amenities! My raised bed garden was fantastic last year! Such a nice plus! Love the dog park and everyone with a dog is so good about picking up after their dog! Ok there has been a few things that have bothered me about this place but now I have to say something here. Is it REALLY necessary to have landscapers here TWICE a week!?? AND AT 7AM on a holiday weekend!?? If they would simply cut the grass short enough that they dont have to return twice in a week...there's an idea! Last Monday after they left (after being here all day) you could not even tell they cut the grass it was so long. Why pay more to have it done again, when they should do it right the first time? I’ve loved living here! The office has been helpful with any questions and you can’t beat the location. Walking distance to several restaurants. I’d definitely recommend it.
This place must be a 5 star community for sure. I would like to let you know of a great experience I had the other day related to your property. I don’t live at the Ravines of Westar, but work nearby and drive by it daily. The other day during the noon lunch hour, I was at the shopping complex adjacent to Westar, getting lunch at Fresh Thyme. BEWARE: false positive reviews online are PAID- they give gift cards and free carpet cleaning to residents who leave positive reviews - and incentivizing reviews are a VIOLATION of FTC laws and against Google, Facebook, Yelp, terms of service -etc, say the same thing. Look up The (2) Star Oakwood Property Management company- to see other comments of how horrible they are. We've had a great experience during the past year. The staff has been very friendly and keeps the place looking great. They are always adding new features like a bike rack and new grills throughout the facility. Adding the pathway to the local shopping plaza has also been very convenient. The pool was awesome during the summer...always clean and a friendly atmosphere. The staff has hosted many events including a Buckeye watch party, chili cook-off, pool party, etc. I would highly recommend the Ravines!
Toured the property and was impressed with the beautiful grounds, clubhouse and friendly staff. Location to 71, shops and restaurants is also a plus!
The Ravines at Westar was by far our worst rental experience. The staff was dismissive from the beginning which should have been an obvious sign of the poor experiences to come. Upon move-in, our brand-new townhome was pretty poorly thrown together. There was paint on all the mirrors, some of the baseboards only half existed, there were no screens in our windows, and our garage door had been damaged from a construction vehicle.
