I have been going here for 2 years and I have never felt better thank God I found them they are excellent I have been seeing drs for the last 20 yrs and they are far above the rest they take the time you need and lesson to you and what you need
HANDS DOWN WORST DOCTOR AND OFFICE EVER. DO NOT GO THERE. ALSO, ZERO NEUROLOGICAL KNOWLEDGE.
Extremely unprofessional and money hungry. He literally referred to himself as only a pharmaceutical "vending machine". I refused to take the drugs he suggested I take DAILY, after only talking with me for 20 minutes. When he realized I wouldn't be profitable he turned me away, callously. STAY AWAY.
I was seeing a great Psychologist in McMurray, Pa for problems with depression after suffering a Traumatic Brain Injury. My Psychologist wanted me to see Dr. Kant because she was afraid that I might need to be on medication. I arrived 45 minutes before my appointment but Dr. Kant was almost 30 mintues late. When he saw me he was very rude and asked why I was seeing him. He ended up writing a Rx for Effexor and then dismissed me. I threw the script in the bushes on my out. Terrible Doctor.
The WORST staff of any doctor's office I have ever been to - rude and very unhelpful. Dr. Kant is a great doctor, and has been a great help to me over the past couple of years. However, the women who book appointments/help patients are short and often mean to patients.
While Dr. Kant himself is a wonderful doctor, his staff is unbelievably rude and unprofessional. I've been seeing Dr. Kant for about a year now, and am always taken aback how short they are with me, and how unreliable they are in terms of helping with prescription complications.
Dr Kant helped me by listening to my issues, talking out his plan of action and having me and my physician give input, and adjusting the game plan as needed. I highly recommend him. Oh, and BTW, the long waits were mostly due to inconsiderate patients who arrive late or just walk in and expected to be squeezed in.
My son was seeing Dr. Kant for ADHD and other issues. I wasn't too impressed with Dr. Kant's office. There were long wait times, sometimes an hour past appointment time, rude staff, and Dr. Kant barely spent 3 minutes w/my son per visit. I tolerated that. Then there was an emergency situation that required an immediate call back, I called in 3 days in a row begging to get a call back. Didn't get a call back but did get an email discharging my son from his care due to my attitude on the messages!
Dr. Kant was the first doctor to look at my symtoms as the separate issues that they truly are, instead of lumping them together into messy, cluster of a diagnosis. His humorous, but very caring and knowledgeable demeanor makes him very easy to confide in and provide all the details of my conditions. For the first time in my life, my emotions and thoughts are controlled and calm- without being sedated. I do see another therapist twice a month for cognitive therapy which also helps.
