Seems I'm not alone in my experience with this group. They placed a bank levy on my only bank account and went on spring break. I contacted my bank garnishment department which informed me I had to contact Rausch Strum, LLP to take care of the matter and settle the debt. I contacted them right away and was immediately told that my bank is wrong, and I need to talk to them. I paid my debt off in full in August of this year, I called after my paycheck was still being garnished and I was informed that it would take 45 days for the paperwork to be processed. It is now 78 days, almost double the time I was told it would take and my paycheck is being garnished. This is the worst collections company I have ever dealt with.
Our company serves civil process papers for Rausch Sturm and have done so for the past several years. For the past two years we have had to contact them every couple of months to receive payment for our services. We have attempted to contact them by fax, phone and mail and have received NO response. They now owe us for six months of fees and we have not received payment. Ironic for a firm that does debt collection work.
