I'm very pleased. I wore glasses and contacts for many years. Now I don't need either. Dr. Burks and his staff are highly competent, patient, helpful, and provide excellent care.

I am very pleased with the excellent results of my recent cataract surgeries. The procedures were handled with care and efficiency. At no time, during or after the surgeries, did I experience any discomfort , and my vision was great almost immediately. Dr. Burks certainly lives up to his fine reputation. Beware, however, if your insurance is not accepted by Dr. Burks office! It is extremely difficult to get the documentation needed to submit to your insurance company for reimbursement.
He was the best, I can read my books , and drive and I can read the signs.This was the best thing I did, Thanks Dr. Burkes.
After discussing previous posting with the doctor, I would like to correct and say that there was a misunderstanding. I would also like to add that all services received by this practice have been more than satisfactory. Dr. Burks takes his patients care very seriously and provides excellent service.
I called because I had eye pain and they fit me in as an emergency. I was a first time patient. They were so nice and thorough from the pre-exam to the doctor's visit. He diagnosed it as suture that had come loose from previous eye surgery. Dr Burks removed it painlessly.In my case I had to wait because I was fit in and the office was busy. It was well worth the wait. The office is attractive, well run and the doctors are very cordial and competent.

This was a life changing experience. I've had to use either glasses or contacts for over 50 years and what a pleasure it is to be able to wake up and see clearly without reaching for glasses or struggling with contacts. Dr. Burks and his office staff were wonderful and made you feel comfortable throughout the whole process. I highly recommend going to Dr. Burks if you are considering lasik surgery,
